WOW, is about all I can write. These are the first reissues I've heard that sound like new recordings, just magnificent.

At a price 'though, US$300 does not seem good value for money to me. You're a lucky fellow.

It depends on where one is able to purchase and the cost. I purchased thru Esoteric dealer in Australia and when all was said and done got good value. I didn't pay silly money. The only real cost effective way to purchase the Esoteric releases is at initial release on Ebay or thru the Japanese Buyee service or JPC. No matter what though, all Japanese reissues are expensive and not a casual purchase.
While I purchase the occassional reissue, I think it far better to support the sacd labels that put out new recordings, which are the best value going in classical music.
