No one seems to know this cellist nor the label. This recording is far superior to the Pentatone SACD and the playing is superb. Finally, a well recorded Elgar concerto with the cello nicely placed front and center.

The search has ended.

Kol Nidre and the Birds are an added bonus. Highly recommended.
