Reger belongs to my favorite composers and I bought this disc just for the Böcklin suite op. 128. Besides the fact that this is the only hires/SACD version of this work, this live recording is to my ears simply breathtakingly beautiful and (sonically) superior to Neeme Järvi's recording for Chandos on RBCD.
