The recordings sound so good, that you can't believe that these recordings are almost 60 years old! I only listened to the 1st symphony yet, but I'm already so enthusiastic that I've no doubt that the other symphonies will also sound very good. (On the other hand, the Karajan Schumann recordings from the early 1970s do not sound so convincing!)
