This is the Swedish bands third album and was first recorded/released back in 1996.

This SACD was released as a limited numbered edition in July 2022 by Universal Hong Kong. Quite why they might have decided to include it in their release schedule is difficult to fathom. Whilst it is a good album (for mine) it is certainly no sonic marvel, and the artist is a mid-tier indie band.

It sounds like a digital recording in that it leans towards being thin sounding and a bit bright.

As far as I can tell the SACD release has not been remastered, though it does benefit from the upping of the bit rate and a DSD master done on modern equipment.


The 1996 CD is quite a difficult listen sonically and this SACD is much easier on the ear in comparison.

So, if you like the album this SACD is certainly worth getting.
