Adrian. Thanks for the review. I was encouraged to download the album in DXD 24/352.8 surround from Native DSD. The booklet says the program was originally recorded in DXD. Be ...

It sounds really good. If I take the Analogue Productions SACD of this album, and turn up the treble some, and turn up the volume 1 notch, I essentially get this new SACD. I guess that shouldn't surprise given that Kevin Gray worked on both versions. While I love both versions equally, there is no real need to get this one if you have the Analogue Productions version. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Sorry I have to disagree. I am a big fan of AP SACD releases, but I was never impressed with the sound on their version of this album. I actually have a DVD-A that was my favourite, until this. I find the sound cleaner and I love the bonus tracks. It’s great having everything on the one disc.

Worth all the buzz: has never sounded this good before. It's the freshly cleaned window impression again, incredibly enough. The mastering engineer Kevin Gray is really on a roll these days. What's behind that? I was not this impressed by his work before.
