I have this one now.
I have listened to this recording for over 50 years on LP and CD. It never ever sounded as good as this sacd does. This is living proof that everything ...

Just saw the four listings and wonder about them. Does anyone know when/where etc. for these. I have a number of Steeplechase cd's so would be interested in sacd's.

The new Steeplechase SACDs are on the Tower Records Japan label. They're available on Tower's website and from eBay sellers based in Japan.

More information about the Tower Japan Steeplechase SACDs can be found here:
First Series (4 SACDs)

Second Series (3 SACDs)

A Google translation from the Japanese:
· For this release, Hiromi Wada is the general supervisor of the series, including new mastering and mastering supervision from the original analog master tapes owned by the label. Achieves high sound quality
*Sound source used and mastering:
・The PCM sound source copied at 24bit/96kHz from the original analog master tape owned by the label was mastered at King Records Sekiguchidai Studio and converted to DSD
・The CD layer was also converted from DSD data to PCM
・Board printing surface: Green coating specification ・Mastering engineer: Hiroyuki Tsuji
・Mastered in August 2022 at Sekiguchidai Studio, King Records Co., Ltd.
I understand this to mean that these SACD releases were not mastered to DSD directly from original tapes, but from new 24/96 conversions of the original tapes.

Hopefully CDJapan will pick these up in their proxy service, like all the other Tower reissues. That makes for an easier and cheaper purchase than Ebay or Tower.
