I was a little concerned upon my first listen when the audience was pushed far back but once the music commenced, when I heard how closely miked Evans piano was.......I just relaxed and enjoyed the sound of this Shm Sacd. Its all good with this sacd. Lifelike and natural sound and a really good recording. Its easy to love Bill Evans and even though there is a huge library on sacd.....its never enough. is it. Overall, this is a very good sounding disc and if you are interested it should be purchased soon before its out of print. I suspect Universal Japan will release the second volume next year.

There is no second volume. There never was. The part of the title (Volume One) is a little bit misleading :)
