How delightful to welcome at last a recording of Hans von Bronsart's Piano Concerto on SACD. This is a wonderful piece of music, once extremely popular but sadly disappearing for decades from the concert hall repertoire.

An RBCD version (which I have) has been aired extensively on UK Classic FM recently a sure sign of its growing popularity with modern audiences.

I agree!!!!!
The Romantic Piano Concerto Series is a real treasure of neglected/forgotten musical gems. And just when Hyperion made one sacd release, RPC#38, they stopped releasing sacd's.
Thanks to Bissie for this one. And may there be others as well.
