Both the SACD and 45 rpm releases of this album by AP are the hands-down winners in their respective (hi-res and analog) formats.
I can't say it better than Downunderman did. IMO his characterization of it is accurate in all respects. And oh yes, misspent youth!
Recorded in 24/196. A heavy 6GB download from eclassical. Very fresh accounts of well known music. SQ is very good even for a Bis recording.
Yes. But only Symphony 6 was released as sacd. The others were rbcd. Symphonies 7-9 were some of the early LSO Live releases.
