Have wanted a true Dsd converted Sacd of this album for years. My previous Dvd-Audio was my previous favorite.
But this new disc is a winner.

Most of this already released by Dutton, including the original Quad tracks. Only the Sacre du Printemps was not realeased by Dutton but by Sony time ago ...

Charging this much for a withering SACD format will only hasten its demise.

Released November 2024 and another title in the Blue Note 85th Anniversary SACD series which uses Kevin Grays vinyl remastering work.
So broadly speaking Analog tape to PCM then to Vinyl and now also to DSD.
Sounds very good too. The PCM step is very slightly noticeable in that it sounds very slightly brighter and cleaner.
