This disc contains 100+ minutes of music. One forgets that SHM single layer is not constrained by the CD layer.

Nobody forgets.
It is about the lack of documentation regarding SACD layout.
Technically, the total playing time of a hybrid SACD's layer is not constrained by the CD's layer.
The sacd layer of a hybrid sacd is the same thing as in the case of a single layer sacd.
Many CEOs of labels did not know that.
Here are the playing time limits for SACD:
Every area (or audio programme) of a sacd (Stereo or M-ch) can have maximum playing time:
255 mins: 59 secs: 74 frames (1 frame = 1/75 second) ***
In real life:
Stereo only area (no DST compression) aprox. 109-110 minutes for a single layer sacd (the limit is disc capacity, see Note);
Stereo only area(DST compression ) = can reach 255 mins: 59 secs: 74 frames in a single layer sacd;
M-ch + stereo = ? (depends on DST compression factor, limit is disc capacity, see Note).
A good example is this hybrid sacd album : Base2 Music 011.
Here the total playing time of a CD layer is very much shorter than the SACD layer.
Note
Sacd disc capacity can be:
a) Single layer 4,38 GB (DVD-5, single side, single layer), Hybrid sacds have also the capacity of single layer;
b) Dual layer 7.95 GB (DVD-9, single side, dual layer).
***The limit is due to the use of 8-bit counters for each audioframe's time field (0-255), not disc capacity.
