Released in May 2026 and based on a 2023 remaster. The tape used and who remastered it does not appear to be on the public record as of now.
One quirk is that the CD layer also includes the bonus tracks from the 2007 reissue. I'm guessing that means it will be the 2007 remaster that is used for the CD layer and only the SACD layer was remastered in 2023.
It was a very well recorded album in the first place so it has a bit of a head start and it does sound very good in this SACD incarnation. I was particularly taken by the tight full bass, something I don't remember from listening to the vinyl back in the 70's.
