With cuts from the four albums recorded with Rudy Van Gelder, “Cookin,” “Relaxin,” “Workin” and “Steamin”, this collection includes the first great quintet of Davis, Coltrane, Garland, Chambers, & Jones. Remastered from the original analog tapes by GRAMMY-winning engineer Paul Blakemore.
