The new 2026 remaster by EBS significantly surpasses both the old SHM-SACD release of the 3rd Symphony and the complete high-res PCM 24/96 cycle from about 10 years ago in terms of sound quality. Highlights include a wider soundstage and a warmer sound signature, thanks to better reproduction of the mid and low frequencies. We can definitely look forward to the second box set with Symphonies 4-6, announced for late November!
