For many years my only recording of this was the Dawn Upshaw, David Zinman, London Sinfonietta RBCD release and like many, I have no complaints with that interpretation. I saw this RPO SACD going for a bargain price so I thought I would give it a go. I was very impressed all round... especially with the 5.1. I can't say the performance is any better than the Upshaw/Zinman reading but it is certainly no worse and it benefits from a very good 5.1 mix if you have the equipment.
