I had given up on Genesis by the time these albums originally came out. While not as exciting as the other box sets, it is still recommended. It has been wonderful discovering some excellent songs on these albums via the 96kHz 24bit 5.1 remixes. There are some gems here for those prepared to look, even on the very last album.
Also, there has been some audiophile criticism levelled at Nick Davis. My understanding is it especially relates to his treatment of the music on this box set, the first in the series to be released (I think). Too much compression? It's not something I'll comment too much on, as I've not developed an expertise in the area. I'm just aware of it from the many comments I've noticed on some sites, such as the highly active Steve Hoffman site. The music is probably not up there with the very best 5.1 remixes, using James Guthrie, Steven Wilson and Elliot Scheiner as benchmarks, but it is all still highly enjoyable.
