This 2011 issued disk is based on the 2001 PCM remaster.
All said and done it sounds very good.........except for the compression.
The stereo SACD layer has an average DR of 10, so it's getting up there.
The numbers are MUCH better on the multi channel SACD mix at an average DR of 12.
So those folks (no me though) with multi channel capability will probably be very happy.
