Fan-Ya Lin plays Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Lowell Liebermann in an amazing solo piano recording by Ray Kimber and associates, using an interesting recording process called 'IsoMike'. The result is a performance that's uncompressed and very dynamic, with a you-are-there quality that's exceedingly rare in classical high fidelity. Lin is a piano prodigy - not because someone else said so, but because of what's on this disc. You'll be amazed - and by the way, the CD-only layer on this SACD sounds spectacular, so if a standard CD player is all you have, you won't be disappointed. Highly, highly recommended.
